Since 1984, the convergence has brought together educators, practitioners, farmers, designers, students and sustainability enthusiasts from across Australasia to share ideas, skills and stories that help shape a more regenerative future. Across 4 days, immerse yourself in thought-provoking talks, hands-on workshops and open conversations exploring everything from food systems and natural building to community, culture, energy and ecological restoration. Start each day beside Lake Gkula, enjoy communal meals, connect with old friends and new collaborators, and let the next chapter of permaculture unfold around you.

The Convergence Pass includes access to all convergence activities, camping and the Eco-Rangers Kids Club.

The weekend begins on Friday evening with a vibrant Village Perma-Party celebrating 50 years of permaculture. Enjoy live music, nourishing food and a warm village welcome before settling in for an unforgettable weekend. Wake-up by Lake Gkula on Saturday and Sunday with morning rituals and then enjoy the day exploring a huge program of talks, workshops, music, entertainment, delicious food, kids’ activities and opportunities to connect, create and celebrate alongside thousands of like-minded legends.

Whether you are new to permaculture or have been part of the movement for decades, the Festival Weekend is your invitation to learn, create and celebrate alongside a community.
